Mikey had a wonderful life he had a loving home and was a wonderful eventer and show horse winning many blue ribbions. He competed prliminary level dressage and Won at the horse trials qualifying for nationals. Tragcially his owner was killed in an accident. Mikey was left with their extended family and they did not know how to care for him. They did a good job and fed him and took him to the vet. One day Mikey contracted grass sickness there he is a fighter, and they got him treatment and it was sucessful in delaying death, they soon ran low on money and couldn't keep him so he went to the slaughter house his days are number...
grass sickness- when acute- causes death in 2-3 days and severe colic and trembeling mucles. chronic causes- severe loss of condition and colic. This is HIGHLY fatal but some chronic have recovered with quality nursing.
He has a chronic case right now but it is bad, there is little hope but he is a fighter and is up for the challange of survival, will you be his lifeline? He needs great care to stay alive.
