Piper unloaded Dramma. Dramma backed out and jumped out onto the ground and snorted and leting a winniey go from het voice. She was ver Skitish right now. Piper started to walk her to a stall that was out side to wait for the vet to see her. Dramma follow piper, but she jumped from everthing inbetween. Piper led her in the stall and unhocled the lead rope and walked out and locked the door.
She walked up to the front desk and said: I need a Checkup on Dramma Queen. I need all her shots done and check her body all over and a coggins pulled on her.
Piper smiled and waited for a reply back.

Dramma looked between the bars of the stall waiting to leave because she did not like this place very much.

Ok, Hi Dramma! She seems VERY dehydrated and I think an IV would do her good. I try to attach the IV but she keeps moving. It's OK girl I'm not going to hurt you. I give her a teeny bit of seditive. I start hooking up the IV. You know I have a liver chestnut arabian stallion just like you! I check her all over while she's still a little tired. It looks like there is nothing else wrong with her besides dehydration and underweight. For her weight I sueggest 3 scoops of grain with corn oil. I give her her WN and tetanus shots and deworm her. Once the seditive wears off I'll do the coggins. *half an hour later* She is still waking up and I already detached the IV and I wait a little bit longer and get the suringe ready. Then I stick the needle in and pull some blood. I'll have the results in an hour or so. I dissappear in the back. I come back in an hour. She tested negative for coggins! Congrats! Come back in six weeks
-100 visit -10 sedative -30 coggins -20 shots -7 dewormer
167$

Piper stood on the out side of the stall leting the vet do her work. I looked down in the stall watching my pretty mare lay down to rest because of the meds that the vet had gave her to make her calm down a bit. I watch the vet give her all the shots and dewormer and then the vet starts to talk about feeding Dramma. I open the stall door and stand there looking down a Dramma, but still hereing all the vet had to say "Ok 3 scoops of grain and corn oil mixed in with the feed...Ok I can do that!" I smiled understanding everthing the vet said to me about her.
I walk in and set down beside dramma strokeing her neck while she was still sleepy. I hoped that Dramma would smell me in her sleep and get more use to me and stuff. I started to talk to her kindly and gently "Hello girl, you will be better in no time. I have the best vet here and she will get you all well."
I smiled and reached down and kissed Dramma on the jaw. I got up and walked to the stall door and opened it steping out and then I closed the door back locking it. I walked to the front office and stood at the desk and handed the person $167.00 for the whole check shots and deworming. The coggins had not yet been pulled and so piper did not have the price on that yet.
