She unloads the big pretty chestnut stallion out of her red trailer. Hermes backs out one by one being very easy because his left back foot/leg hurts him. Piper led him to and stall and Hermes follows her to the stall.
Piper walks him in the stall. Hermes follows piper in the stall and lowers his head sniffing the ground for mares and other smells. Piper unhocked the lead rope leaveing the halter on him. She closed the door and walked to the office because she already had Dramma Queen her waiting to be checked out.
She walked in the office: "Hello I have a tb stallion back here that needs a check up and his shots and his coggins pulled and he has a lame foot and I need to get that checked out to."
She smiled and waited for a reply.

Well let's see, I take a look at it and see a bump. What's this? I gently apply pressure and this white "stuff" starts coming. HAH I knew it! An inside injury. He must have hurt himself and it healed over but it still hurts inside. I wait until the white stuff is gone and I feel around it to make sure there's no more. He starts squealing and kicks at me. I sigh and give him some stablizer to calm him down. I cut away the infected tissue and wash the leg really good. Then I get some medicated cotton and vet wrap. I wrap the cotton around the foreleg and wrap bandaging over it. I tape the vet wrap on right when he starts waking up. Wow that was good timing! It wasn't his foot hurting him it was the strain on his foreleg. I give him a shot of antibiotics and his WN and tetanus shots and pull the sueggested coggins. He tested negative for coggins. Keep him in his stall and come back every day to rebandage it or you can do it yourself. After the first few days you can wait a day inbetween when the bleeding goes down. No turnout and short walks and keep him in his stall.
-100 visit -30 antibiotics/shots -10 stablizer -30 leg wrapping -30 coggins
$200
