I lead my two inseperable twin Mini's into the barn. I have my frind hold them while I spread three bags of shavings into their stall. For now I just but both their nameplates on the same door because I can't seperate them now but I've requested the two stalls next to eachother next to Last Breath, who is on the end. She is looking over her stall door with interest at the two babies. Charley squeals as she sees Last Breath but Misty just stands there looking somewhat overwhelmed by everything. But as soon as Charley nuzzles her she looks more comforted. Their stall was nice and thick and soft for the tiny horses, that was the point of putting three bags down, and my friend leads them in. The stall is really big and nice and airy. As soon as they get into a corner they plop down next to eachother and cuddle. Charley lets out a sigh of contentment and Misty is already asleep. I decided I would just let them settle before trying to feed them. " Goodbye girls."

" Hey babies. How are you?" I said it quietly so I wouldn't startle them. I look in and see them. They are still sleeping, cuddling next to eachother in the warm bedding. I would hate to wake them up so I just take their water bucket and begin to scrubb it. After I scrubbed it, I refilled it and put it back in their stall. They were awake but they were still lying down. I went to get their one scoop of sweet feed that they shared and poured it in their bucket. Charley stood up, yawned, and walked over to me and headbutted me. " Hey! What are you doin?" I laughed. This got Misty interested and she decided she wanted to come over and join the fun. She squealed and lept over. I laughed and started to put their matching halters on. They were purple! I put their leadlines on and tied them to a corner in their stall. I went to grab the muck bucket and three bags of shavings. They were messy girls! I cleaned it out with then staring at me the whole time. It was hard to concentrate and finish because I just wanted to go and pet them!.But I finished and put all three bags of shavings down. Then I put the stuff away and filled two bottles half way with milk and started to feed them at the same time. They drank greedily and then once they were finished, they sank down into their bedding and went to sleep, cuddling. I kissed them both and headed quietly out of the stall. "Goodnight girls."

"Hey babies. How are you girls?" I see them and they're causing trouble with their water bucket. " Excuse me? I paid for that! Don't ruin it!" I laughed and gave them both big hugs. I took them out and put their warm blankets on and decided to turn them out in the small pasture for a little while whil I clean their stall and feed them. I put them out and they start trotting around getting used the paddock first. I watch them for a couple of minutes to make sure they'll be alright and then once they start picking at the grass I turn to leave. I go into the barn and grab the muck bucket. I start cleaning their messy stall and discover lots of water on the ground. They spilt their bucket!"Silly babies!" I say to myself. I finish and lay 3 bags of shavings in their stall. Then I grab one scoop of sweet feed and put it in their bucket. Instead of filling their bucket with water, I put a little milk in them. See if they want to spill that! With that accomplished I go walk to the pasture and start bringing them in. I get both their leadlines attatched to their halters...FINALLY...and bring them back to the barn. I give them each a quick grooming and put their blankets back on. I turn them into their stall and they head straight for their water buckets! But instead of tipping them, they drink them. With their fuzzy tails swishing back and forth I say goodbye and leave the clinic. "I'll be back later everyone!"

"Hi babies!" I walk into their stall and see that their milk is all gone. That was a good way to do it. I wash out their water bucket and fill it half way with milk. I put it back on their hook and went to grab the muck bucket. I cleaned their stall so it was spotless and they didn't need any shavings. Then I did a little experiment. I grabbed Misty's halter and put it on her. I grabbed her matching leadline and clipped it on the ring. Charley was waiting expectantly for her halter too. But I didn't put it on her. I led Misty to the tack room with me so I could grab her grooming bucket and she wouldn't get hurt trying to get through the door. I had another boarder watch Charley so she wouldn't hurt herself either. Charley was a little worked up that her sister wasn't with her but she wasn't doing anything serious. Misty on the otherrhand, was a little more fearful. She kept pulling at her halter and whinnying. Charley would whinny back and make her feel better. Misty finally settled down and I hooked her to the crossties for smaller horses. I started brushing her tiny body. Once I was done, I picked out her hooves carefully. Then I combed out her tail, talking comforatablly to her the whole time. Her mane and tail were done so I turned her back into the stall. I gave them a few minutes of being together again and then put Charley's halter on her. I led her out of the stall and had the boarder go in with Misty since she was the more fearful of the two. Then I took Charley to the crossties and brushed her. Then I picked out her hooves and combed out her mane and tail. Charley didn't seem upset at all. Then I took Charley back to the stall. The boarder said Misty was a little worried at first but then she quieted down and laid down. I reunited the babies and they started smelling eachother and nuzzling one another. Then they laid down in their "corner" and went to sleep. They were tired afetr their "traumatizing" day. They were fine though. Then I gave them a scoop of feed and kissed them goodbye. "Goodbye my babies!" Then I left to go feed Blaze.

" Hey boogers, how are you?" They look at me innocently and I know they've done something. "What have you two done now?" I look into their stall and see that the water bucket that had water in it was on the floor and was ruined! "BABIES! What have you done! I paid for that! Okay timeout!" I look at them and laugh. Charley was actually sitting down and Misty was resting her muzzle on Charley's shoulder! "All right you two. You win but when I buy another bucket DO NOT DESTROY IT!" I laugh and start to brush them quickly. I finish them and clean their stall while they are in there. "Sorry babes, I got to hurry, I have to go out to dinner!" I put three bags of shavings in their stall and turn to look at them. They have been "helping" me with my chores. I shut the door and go and grab their one scoop of grain. I put it in their feed bucket and they run over. I look at them and I can't really see their ribs anymore!" Good job babies! You've gained weight!" I fill their remaining bucket halfway with milk and kiss them goodbye. I make sure their blankets are snug and then walk out of their stall. "Bye babies!" Now it's Last Breath's turn!

" Hey babies. I can't stay long." I bruched them quick, put on their fleeces and their winter blankets and then mucked out their stall. I gave them 4 more bags of shavings so they would be especially warm. Then I gave them their one scoop of feed and refilled their milk back a little more than half way. I put more water in their other bucket too. Then I kissed them goodbye. "Bye babies, I love you! See you tomorrow." But they were already asleep in their corner.

" Hey babies. What do you think about going outside while I feed and muck your stall out?" I put their warmest blankets on and then their halters. They look a little confused. I attach their leadlines and then lead them outside. I put them in the small pasture and close the gate. "Okay girls, have fun. I'll be back in like a half and hour." I go back to the clinic, say hi to Last Breath on my way to their stall, and start cleaning it. I put three bags of fresh shavings in it so now it's extra thick. "They'll like this." I fluff up their "corner" with extra bedding and then head to the feedroom. I get two scoops of feed now because they are gaining more weight and eating their feed very quickly, looking like they want more. I pour it in their feed bucket and then refill their milk bucket. Then I make sure they have fresh water and then refill it. Then I walk back to their pasture and try to catch them. They kept running from me! "Fine, you want to play this game?" I turned my back on them and leaned against the pasture gate. I didn't hear anything for a little while but then I heard them start wlaking over. As soon as they were both right next to me I grabbed their halters. They struggled a bit but then calmed down. They looked defeated! "Gotcha babies!" I clipped their leadlines on their halters and opened the gate. I led them outside and then closed it behind me. I walked them to the clinic and turned them into their stall. They ran right to their bucket. "Okay babies I'll see you later." Just before I headed out I looked into the stall and saw them in their corner snuggling.

"Hi babies. How are you?" I step into their stall with the grooming kit and take off their blankets. I brush them quickly, pick out their hooves, and comb out their mane and tails. I then put their blankets back on and walk out the stall closing the door behind me. I grad two scoops of feed and decide to add some bran. I pour it onto their bucket then refill one of their water buckets with water and put some molasses in it to see if they would drink instead of spilling it out. Then I filled the other one with warm milk. "Goodnight Misty and Charley. I love you!" I kissed them good bye and then headed out the clinic.

"Hey babies." I stop when I see that they are sleeping. They wake up but are too tired to stand up and walk over. I work around them, cleaning out their stall and put three bags of fresh bedding in it. Then I give them two scoops of feed and fill their water bucket back up and put more molasses in it. Then I refill their other bucket with their milk. I lean down and give them kisses goodbye. I close the door behind me. "Night girls...I love you...see you tomorrow!"

"Hey mini's...how are you?" I put REALLY warm blankets on them and take them outside for a short walk. They need to get some exercise. I take them to the indoor and walk them around for like ten minutes and bring them back to the barn. They were frisky on their walk and now Charley didn't want to go back into the barn. I try to coax her ast first but she just sqeuals and bucks. "Charley! Get your butt in here right now!" I give a big yank on her halter and she comes inside. "There, that wasn't so hard, was it?" She glares at me and walks behind me dejectedly. "Oh stop, you are really bratty tonight!" I put them on the crossties and take off their blakets. I brush then really quick, pick out their hooves and comb out their manes and tails. I put their blankets back on and clean out their stall. I put four bags of shavings in their stalls to make sure that they are warm enough and give them fresh water. This time I don't put molasses in it and leave it plain. Then I fill up their milk bucket and give them two scoops of grain. Then I go back and get them, giving them each a sugar cube(not that they need it, they're already hyper enough!) and bring them back to the stall. I make sure their settled in and give them kisses goodbye. I take off their halters and leadlines and close the door behind me. I hang up the halters and leadlines. "Bye girls, see you later!"

I walk to the mini's stall, debating when I should seperate them into two different stalls. They aren't sleeping near to eachother as much as they used to but they are staill attached to eachother. "Soon I'll do it! Hey Charley and misty! How's my babies!" I look in and see them standing up at the door, waiting for me. "I really have to see about getting you guys stall gurds or something so you can see whats going on." I give them two scoops of fedd and one flake of hay. Charely looks at it and then lays down on top of it! "Charley, NO! You are supposed to eat it, not sleep on it!" I stick my finger in the corner of her mouth and she opens it and I put a little piece of hay on her tonge. She eats it right away. "See isn't it good?" Misty comes over and joins Charley in eating the hay. I refill their water bucket and am glad to see the water was dranken without the molasses. I refill their milk bucket, only half way, because they're not really supposed to have milk anymore. I take off their blankets and brush them, pick out their hooves, and comb out their mane and tails. Then I clean out their stall and put three bags of fresh shavings in it. Then I put their blankets back on and shut the door. "Bye babies, see you later!"

"Hey babies! You are looking good!" I take off Charley's mound of blankets and curry her and then brush her. I pick out her little hooves and comb out her mane and tail. Then I put her fleece, her light stable blanket, her medium stable blanket, and then her heavy winter blanket on. Hey! Babies are more prone to get sick! I take off Misty's blankets and curry her and then brush her. I pick out her hooves and then comb out her mane and tail. I put her fleece on, her light stable blanket on, her medium stable blanket, and then her heavy winter blanket on. I clean out their stall and then put five bags of shavings in it. Again, babies are more prone to illnesses! I give them two scoops of grain and one flake of hay. I refill their water bucket and then their milk bucket. I give them both kisses and then head out of their stall. I close the door behind me and latch it. "Goodnight babies, love you,see you tomorrow!"
