Session #1
Desi showed little understanding for dressage when I first got on he was not flat footed and would not go round. I put my leg on and heald my hands steady to make desi give to the bit which she eventually did at the walk. I walked Desi continuing to ask her to go round for 15 minutes, After that I proceeded to do the same at the trot. At first she threw her head in the air but after some time I was able to have her head come down and she became round. At the trot she would only stay round for a few moments before she threw her head up. When she did I put on my leg and asked her to give to the bit. I proceeded to do this for about 20 monutes. I then asked for the canter. Desi ruched the canter from the trot and becaume very disorganized. She was upsidedown in the canter and would not go round at first. She slowly began to give to the bit after about 15 minutes.
I then worked on trasitions, Desi has beautiful downward trasititons but rush both walk to trot and trot to canter trasitions. I used the training method of canter halts to make desi listen to my leg and have smoothe tras itions. I did this for about 20 minutes.
I worked with desi for 1hour and 5 minutes in her first session Desi show good improvement in the first sessions and a good understanding for dressage. She will learn quickly.

Session #2- Final session
I start this session with Dessi by lungeing her with side reins. I start off with the side reins loose and I slowly tighten them as she lears to give to the bit I see a great improvement in her very quickly as she is a very fat learner. I lunge desi useing lots of transition in walk trot canter for 30 min
I then get on and apply the the same technique that the side reins did. She has not completely gotten to go and stay round but she is getting much closer. Today I work on circles with her. At first her circles are lop sided and she changes pace through the circle and throws her head in the middle. With repition I slowly improve her circles. I worked on circles for 20 minutes.
I then taught her to go straight down the center line and keep at the smae pace. At first she wved from sided to side and would not go straight down the center line. She has improved but isn't very good with her center line. I worked on that for 15 minutes.
I ended her session incorporating everything she knew in. I used transitions circles and the center line.
Desi has greatly improved since she first came and leaves much better than when she came, Desi was at a medium low elementry level of dressage which involoves waling and troting.
Desi has improved to a low beginner novice level of dressage which invloves cantering. With a few more Trainging session Desi would be a very stong Beginner Novice dressage level.
Please note that all dressage levels I will be using are in terms of the eventing levels which in clude lowest to highest in order elementray, beginner novice, novie, training, preliminary, intermidieate, advanced.
Desi has completed her training and we look forward to haveing her here again, $150
