Hey...If it's okay with you I would like it if you would train Hero again for me. Same things Hunter/Jumper and Cross Country. Could you do it for a week with three sessions a day please? Thanks!

"Hey Hero, how's my boy? I'm keeping you here until I get a response from devilishjumper. It's okay...she did such a great job training you last time I want her to do it again. Maybe get it so you can jump higher with a rider on your back. But since I just have a brace on my arm I'm gonna take you fo a little walk and maybe trot on the trails. Would you like that boy?" He nods his head up and down, like he's agreeing! "Okay we'll go...I just have to do some things here first. I put his burgundy halter on and clip his matching leadline to it. I lead him over to the crossties and clip one to each side of his halter. Then I go and get his grooming box. I take of his blankets and put them in a neat pile on the side of the aisle. His name is on them so people will know who's they are if I leave them there. I start with a curry, gently going in circles on his coat to get all the dirt and extra hair off. Once I'm done with that I clean the curry out and put it back in the tack box. Then I grab the hard brush and start on his fur, following the hair. I get all the hair and dirt that the curry left behind off and put the brush away. Then I use a soft brush to make him shine. I put it away and grab his hoof pick, cleaning his hooves out gently. I then pick up his mane and tail brush and start getting the knots out. After that's done, I bring the kit back to the tack room and grab his bridle, saddle, wraps, and saddle pad. I bring them to him sruggling, because I can only use one hand. Then I go back and grab my helmet. put my half chaps on and grab my crop. Then I go to him and start getting him ready. I wrap all four of his legs in navy wraps and once done I place his navy saddle pad over his withers. Then I place my general purpose saddle on over it and do up the girth. Before I put the bridle on, I slip my gloves on and buckle my helmet. After that I gently put the bit against his teeth and he opens his mouth. "Good boy." Then I slip it over his ears and do up the straps. He stands there while I check the girth to make sure it's tight enough and it is. I lead him out of the barn and put the stirrups down. I lift my foot up to the stirrup and swing up, landing gently in the saddle. I head off to the trails at a nice walk and warm him up on the way. Once there I ask him to trot. We trot for a good ten minutes and then I walked him for five..he wasn't even sweating. "You're such a good boy!" After five more minutes I ask him for a canter. We canter for about two and then we come to a meadow. I walk him for about ten minutes and then ask him for acanter again. Then I let him into a hand-gallop. I finally let him full out and we flew! It made me forget all my troubles. I was just so glad to be with Hero. After a couple more seconds I gradually brought him down to a trot. He wasn't even sweating! There was a little 2'3 fence so I pointed him at it and he jumped perfectly over it. "Good boy! Devilishjumper did a REALLY good job with you." I walked him back to the barn and it took a half hour so he was nice and cool when we got back. It was warm out, warmer than it had been..about 60 degrees. I was excited. I dismounted at the front of the barn and walked him to the crossties. I took his bridle off and exchanged it for a halter and clipped the crossties to him, and put the bridle away after cleaning the bit. Then I undid his girth and put it off to the side. I lifted his saddle and saddle pad off his back and saw no sweat mark. "Look at you! You are in really good shape Hero!" I put his tack away neatly on the hooks and grabbed the grooming bucket. I took off his wraps and wrapped them back up and took them to the tack room and put them in my wrap wrack. I had many different colors. Then I went back to Hero and started brushing him until he was shiney again. I picked out his hooves and combed his mane and tail. I put the grooming bucket away and walked back to him. I put just his medium blanket on and left to go get his muck bucket. I cleaned out his stall and put four bags of shavings down since he barely had any left, I could see the floor! Then I put the muck bucket away and went into the feed room. I scooped three scoops of grain into his feed bucket and hung it in his stall. I grabbed three flakes of hay and put them under his feed bucket. I grabbed his water buckets and scrubbed them then refilled them with warm water. During this, Hero was standing patiently. I finally finished and broght him to his stall. "Good boy Hero. I'll see you later. Have a good lunch! I love you!" I took his halter off, closed the door and hung the halter and leadline on the door. Then I walked out of the training barn.

" Hey boy. I can't stay long." I took him out and he was tired from his earlier workout so I didn't have to exercise him. I brought him to the crossties, took off his blankets and groomed him. I picked out his hooves and combed out his mane and tail too. Then I put his fleece and his warmest balnket on. I grabbed the muck bucket and cleaned out his stall. I gave him three more bags of fresh shavings so he would be warm. I filled his feed bucket up with three scoops of grain and gave him three flakes of hay. Then I refilled his water buckets with fresh, warn water. I went to go get him and brought him into his stall. I kissed him goodbye. "Bye Hero...I love you. See you tomorrow." Then I left for my aoartment.

" Hey sweetie. I don't have long." I quickly take off his blankets and brush him. Then I pick out his hooves and comb out his mane and tail. Then I put his blankets back on and refill his water buckets with warm water. I clean out his stall and put one bag of shavings in his stall. Then I get three scoops of grain in his bucket and three flakes of hay. I give him a little exercise by walking him up and down the aisle and then do a little trotting. I walk him for a few more minutes so he's cool and put him back in his stall. I give him a kiss goodbye. "Bye Hero. I love you. See you tomorrow!" I then hang his halter on his door and leave the training barn.

"Hero! Only two more days until you get better!" I go into his old stall with rubber gloves, overalls and a bucket filled with warm soapt water. I start scrubbing the walls and the mats. I also scrub his water buckets and buckets. It takes me almost two hours but I finally finish. I hose it down and let it dry. I carefully take off the overalls and throw them in the dumpster along with the rubber gloves and brush I used. Then I went back onto the barn and took off his blankets. I brushed him and then picked out his hooves. Then I combed out his mane and tail til there were no more knots. I put his blankets back on and went into the feedroom. I got his two scoops of grain and his medicine. I mixed his medicine in with his feed and poured it into his feed bucket. Thank god he was still eating! I gave him two flakes of hay to see if he would eat it and refilled his water. Then I cleaned out his stall and put four bags of fresh bedding into it. "Bye boy, I love you! I'll see you later." I closed his door and walked to Blaze's stall.

"Hey Hero. How are you?" He was actually looking a lot better and his feed was all gone and so was his hay. And he was drinking. "Good boy Hero...looks like your feeling a bit better!" I clean out his stall and put four bags of shavings in it because the vet said to keep him dry. I refill his water buckets and then give him two scoops of grain grounded with his medicine. Then I give him two flakes of hay and a kiss goodbye. "Love you boy...see you tomorrow..I hope you feel better!"
