Star: Hi How's my star? I bring her out and brush her real quick and bring her out to the arena. I do her show routine and put a lunge line on her. Then I set up a 1 foot jump and slowly work our way towards it. When she comes in front of it she panics and swerves around it. Then i set up a jump right next to it the same height so she has to go over it. She skids to a stop and sniffs it and jumps over it finally. I lunge her over it again and I raise them both up a half a foot and lunge her over those. She notices it's higher and sniffs it again and backs up and sails over it three feet above it. Well you are certainly showing your stuff tonight aren't you? Then I put her back in her stall.
Cobalt: Hey Cobalt. I take him out and groom him up and put on my english saddle and bridle and tighten the girth. I hop on him and warm him up in the arena. Then once he's warmed up i ride him outside to the outside arena and tie him up. I set up about 10 jumps. First fence is 1 foot, second is 2 feet, third is three feet, fourth is 4 feet, fifth is 4.5, sixth is 5, seventh is 5.5, eighth is 5.9, ninth is 6, tenth is 6.5. I canter him a bit then canter him over the first jump then the second and third and fourth and fifth and sixth all perfectly. Then i urge him over the seventh and he leaps over it, then the eighth and he takes a huge stride, then the ninth he takes a leap then the tenth one he gathers up and jumps over it and I feel like i'm litteraly flying! GOOD BOY! You made a 6.5 jump!!! I put him back over the 7, 8 ,9 ,10 jumps again and he doesnt touch it! WOW you are so good Cobalt! Then i do a little hunter and cross country. When I'm done he's sweating fairly bad. It looks like you need a bath young man! lol. I cool him off and ride him back to the stable. Then I untack him and let it air out a bit and I take him to the wash stall and give him a nice warm bath. Then I dry him off and put a drying sheet on him and go to clean off his blankets. I quick throw them in the wash and run back to cobalt. I guess you'll have to sit here while your things wash! I put his little toy next to him and let it play with it. a half hour later the clothes are done and I throw them in the dryer. Another half hour later all the blankets are washed and dried. (all of the horses blankets including the ones they were wearing). Then I put him in his stall.
Nova: hey how's my bad boy! I laugh and slip his halter on. I think I'm gonna move you to the other aisle until you learn to be a good boy. I lead him over there and bring all his stuff with. Then I put him in the cross ties and brush him off. You are so pretty, I love your color! Then I throw my clean english pad on him and saddle and bridle. Then I hop on him and ride him into the arena with the doors closed so he cant see the others. I warm him up and ride him outside. I take him over the same jumps I did with cobalt except I added another one on the end. He clears them all perfect. WOW GOOD BOY! thats a 6.8 foot jump you jumped there! I think we should work wiht you on Hunter. I take him to the course and do the same height jumps with hunter. Then I take him to the cross country course (he really likes the water jumps!) He refuses on a very difficult jump and I fly from the saddle and everything turns black. I wake up like 5 minutes later suddenly remembering what happened. Nova is biting at the jump. I check him all over and make sure he's not hurt at all well it looks like you weren't hurt at all. He rears up at it and makes a little dent in the jump. Hey I paid for that! It's OK boy I'm not hurt and you're not hurt. Lets just continiue. What is up with you this week I say as we trot down a trail. You have been acting very strange lately. Luckily I was wearing my protecters! There's a log ahead and he doesnt want to jump it. It's ok boy just go over it. He finally jumps over it and we continiue. This trail is like 2 hours long. I take him through all sorts of shinanagins and jumps. He enjoys it a lot! I'm glad you aren't afraid of jumps now. He really acts up at one part of the trail. Settle down boy! Once we get to the feild then I'll let you run off your energy! We get there and urge him to go as fast as he can. I can barely see but I can feel his feet flying under us. I let him run out the rest of the trail to the barn and once we get there I try to slow him to a canter but he keeps galloping and leaps over the arena gate! WHOA! That gate is HIGH! How in the heck did you jump that! Thats like 7 feet. 7 FEET! I'm glad you didnt hurt yourself! Gates dont give in like regular jumps do. You either make it or you dont and if you dont you get hurt bad. SO NO JUMPING THE GATES! I untack him and he is really sweating. i take off the tack and lead him to the wash stall and give him a nice bath. Then I dry him off and put his turnout on and let him out in the back pasture where he doesnt have any contact to any horse. Then I go and let Star and Cobalt out into their pastures.
I go on and continiue on Nova's pasture to make it so he cant jump it. 2 hours later I'm finally done with it. Ahh He wont jump that! I go in and clean their stalls and buckets and fill up the buckets and hay bags. Then I clean out Nova's old stall and I dont have to clean the new one since it's already clean. Then I go lounge in the break room and sleep. 1 hour later I get up and bring the horses in and switch their blankets. Bye all of you see you tommorrow!

Star: Hi Star how are you girl?? You have a burstfull of energy don't you! I'll be sure to get rid of that. I'm gonna see how you do with jumping again today. I take her out and groom her and clip a lunge line on her. I warm her up then lunge her to the fences and she skids to a stop and sniffs them and jumps over them. I grab the whip and put it behind my back when she comes around again and starts slowing down I crack the whip behind her and she shoots over it. Thats how you do it girl!! She comes around again and sniffs it and decides not to jump it. I sigh and Lead her out to the round pen. Then I unclip the lunge and get her going to a canter. She starts slowing down and I keep her goin again. She slows down again and i click for her to keep goin. Then she starts putting her inside hear towards me and lowers her head and starts clacking her teeth. Then I turn my shoulder and she comes behind me and nuzzles my shoulder. I smile because it was a success. Then I walk to the arena and she follows me there. I shut the gate and start running around and she follows. Then I jump over the jump and she comes after. I turn around and pet her. That's a good girl!! I do it again and she doesnt stop in front of it. GOOD GIRL! Then I clip the lunge back on and lunge her over it and she doesnt stop! GOOD GIRL! I pat her vigorously and raise the jump a bit. Then I lunge her over it again and she goes over it. GOOD GIRL! Then I put her back in her stall.
Cobalt: Hi Cobalt! I bring him out and groom him and tack him up and ride him out to the arena. I warm him up and ride him outside. Then I ride him over the same sets of jumps as yesterday. He does great! Then I raise Them up a little and he still clears it. We wont go any more then 6 feet today. I do cross country and Hunter with him and he does really good. I ride him out on the road and take him for a long relaxing ride. I come back a half hour later and untack him and brush him off and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hey how's my bad boy? Do you think you can behave today? I take him out and tack him up and ride him out to the arena and warm him up. Then I take him over the same jumps I did with Cobalt except with a higher jump on the end. You can jump so high boy! It's amazing! I take him over a whole show jumping course. Then I do Cross Country and Hunter with him and he does a great job! Then I take him on a dressage course. Then I bring him back and brush him off and let him in his raised fence pasture and he goes nuts because he cant jump the fence any more. You BETTER not jump that fence! Then I go get the others and put them in their pastures. I go and clean their stalls and buckets and fill them with feed and water and fill their hay bags. Then I bring them in 2 hours later. Bye all of you!

Star: Hi Star how are you today! I bring her out and groom her up and clip a lunge line on her and take her out to the arena. Then I do her show routine and lunge her over some jumps. You are getting good at that aren't you! I raise the jumps a little bit higher and take her over them. I'm going to try something very daring today girl. I go and grab my english saddle and quickly throw it on her back and tighten the girth. She goes NUTS and bucks and rears and does all she cann. I hang on for my life and after about five minutes she finally settles down. I walk over to her petting her and saying it's alright. Then I walk her all over with the saddle on and lunge her a little and lunge her over the jumps with the saddle on. I'm glad you didn't do any damage to my saddle! Then I go and do some poles with her and making her walk over them with a saddle on her back. Then I do t touch with the saddle on so she settles down more and so she knows it wont hurt her.. Then I walk over and undo the girth and take the saddle off. Then I take her and groom her and put her back in her stall.
Cobalt: Hi Cobalt how's my boy? I take him out and brush him really good and tack him up. Then I warm him up in the arena and take him out and do his normal building up jumps. Then I take him over the highest one again and again so he gets used to jumping that high. Then I go and do some cross country with him and take him over to one of the hardest jumps which is the stairs. I slowly canter him up to it and he does a great job!! Cobalt that was amazing! Then I take him over to the hunter course and I borrowed some beagles from the neightbors and act like it really is hunting. I don't do any thing else besides the jumping though so he gets used to the surroundings. Then I ride him back down to the barn and groom him and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hi Nova how are you today? I take him out and groom him and tack him up and warm him up in the arena. Then I take him over the series of building up jumps as I did with Cobalt except with a little bit highter one at the end. Then I do hunter and cross country and dressage with him. Then I do the main focus on cross country so he doesnt mess up on that jump again. I run him through the whole course and he doesn't slip or anything. GOOD BOY! Then I take him to the hunters and take him ober the jumps. I add a high one at the end and he doesnt hit it. THats how you do it Nova! Then I take him to the dressage arena and Run him through a whole dressage course. Then I teach him a new move that he didn'y already know and he learns it as quick as a dime! That is so amazing boy how you can learn stuff so fast! Then I ride him back to teh barn and groom him and let all of them out in their pastures.
I go and clean out all their stalls and buckets and fill them with the appropriate things then I go and clean all my tack and get a new likit for Nova since his is all gone because he must have been bored. Then I go and watch the horses and see what they are doing. I watch them and they are just grazing and not doing anything. That's my good horses! Then I go lounge in the break room for awhile and watch TV and 3 hours later I go and bring all the horses in and switch their blankets and put them in their stalls. Bye all of you I love you and goodbye!

Star: Hi Star how's my good girl? I bring her out and brush her and throw a saddle on her again. Then I do lunging with her with the saddle on then I put a bridle on her and she goes crazy! Luckily I was able to keep her under control as I wait for her to settle down. Then when she gets over that I lunge her in both directions and she plays with the bit. Then I go and get a 10 pound bag of sand and tie it to her. She gets really mad and tries to buck it off. It's OK girl it's only sand. She keeps trying and trying but the bag doesn't come off. Then I lunge her again and she gets tired of it and stands still. Then I put a 20 pound bag of sand on her and she is unsure and only bucks 2 times. Then I lunge her again and lunge her over some poles and she refuses to do it. I clap behind her and she goes over the poles. Thats a good girl. Then I do a lot of work with her with that weight on her back. Then I get two lunge lines and clip them to both sides of her bit. Then I go behind her out of kicking distance and cluck for her to move forward. Then I try steering her with the lunge lines. She does an OK job but it's not really good. You'll get it sooner or later. I take off the sand and saddle and bridle and brush her off and put her in her stall.
Cobalt: Hey how's my boy! I take him out and brush him and put my saddle and bridle on him. Then I warm him up in the arena and ride him to the outside arena. Then I do the series jumps again and he does them all perfect! All up to six feet. Wow you're really good! Then I take him over a cross country and a hunter course the same height. Then I take him on a trail ride. Then I take him over a series of jumps on there. Then I take a speed run throughout the feild. Then I take him down to the neighbors house to have her join me on a trail ride. She comes back on her horse and we go on a nice trail ride. Cobalt has a lot of energy so I ask if she wants to race. Cobalt goes speeding down the trail with her horse closely behind. Then I discover a huge jump in front of us. I try to pull Cobalt back but he just keeps going. I watch and glad to see that she made the jump alright. Then I start doing half halts to slow him down. He finally does and he's sweating quite hard. That was a race wasn't it? Then we both ride back to the barn and I say goodbye and I take Cobalt inside and untack him and bring him in the wash stall. Then I wash him off with shampoo and Conditioner really good and dry him off and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hi How's my other boy? I bring him out and tack him up and warm him up in the arena then I do the series of jumps with an extra jump on the end and he clears them all. Then I do cross country and hunter and dressage on them and he does a wonderful job! Now I bet our neighbors horse can't do that as good as you can! Then I ride him down to the beach. I have a friend come along to take a picture of me riding him in the sunset beach. I trot him in the water so he gets used to it and then I gallop him and that's when she takes the picture. I stop and look at it and it's beautiful! You are such a pretty boy aren't you! The camera even likes you! He stands up proud and I pet him really good. Then I hop off and let my friend take a spin on my prize stallion. She only does a walk and a trot and returns him back to me. I hop back on him and do some more things with him on the beach. Then I go to the forest and tie him to a tree and take a 5 minute break. Then I hop back on him and gallop the rest of the way home. Then I get back to the barn and take him to the wash stall and give him a bath and let them all out in the pasture with their outside blankets on.
I go and clean out all their stalls and buckets and put the appropriate things in them. Then I put their hay in their hay bags. Then I move Nova's things back over to the other aisle since he's been acting pretty good lately. Then I go and clean all my tack and add some treats to all their feed. Then I go and watch them and Star is galloping around with her tail in the air and it is so beautiful that you can't explain it with words. I quick snap a picture and go to the barn computer and upload it and print it in a large size and hang it ouside her door. Then I do the same with Nova's picture then I go snap a picture of Cobalt running around and hang it outside of his stall. Then 2 hours later I swap their blankets and put them in their stalls. Nova is happy that he is in the other aisle with the other horses. Bye you three see you tommorrow!

Star: Hi Star please forgive me for not spending time with you. I bring her out and brush ehr really good and put the saddle and bridle on and put sand bags on her. Then I put a lunge on her and warm her up and lunge her and do slowly keep adding weight to her. Then I do some ground work with her again. Then I lunge her with more weight on her. Then I put a sand filled dummy that is quite heavy on her. She goes crazy and bucks and goes nuts. Good thing I don't have the jumps set up ot you would be getting hurt! I let her buck off her steam until she gets used to it. Then I lunge her with the dummy and she doesn't like it one bit. Then I lunge her again and again with the dummy. Then I click for her to a trot and she reluctantly moves into a trot. Then I ask her for a canter and she won't budge. Uggh then I shake the whip behind her and she bolts in a circle. You really gotta run off this energy. I lunge her at a quite fast canter until she settles down a bit. Well I think that's enough for today. Maybe I'll try and get on you tommorrow. I take off the tack and give her a wash down with a rag and put her back in her stall.
Cobalt: Hey how's my boy! I pet him and bring him out and brush him and put my tack on him. Then I warm him up in the arena a little bit extra and then do the series of jumps again. I think 6.8 is the highest I'll take you boy. I take him over the series with the high jump on the end. Then I do a whole course with his level jumps. OOH the water jump! I know you love those! He pops over it and purposly goes in the water. No boy you don't go in the water! I nudge him with my crop and do it again. Then I slap the crop against him right before he takes off and he doesn't go in the water. Good boy. Then I do the rest of the course. You are doing really good! I guess I can officially say you're done with your training! CONGRATS! Well i'll keep working you until you are REALLY good. I do Cross country and hunter with him the same height. GOOD BOY You did excellent! I ride him back to the barn and take off thetack and give him a wash down with the rag and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hey how's my little snot? I laugh and go and bring him out and he's bursting with energy. I think i should lunge you first. Then I brush him and grab the lunge line and he high trots. You are acting studdish today. I lunge him at a walk/trot until he gets warmed up then I do a canter and he's still hyper. Then I unclip the lunge and run him out in the arena. I chase after him for a bit. I snap a picture of him running because it's really pretty. Then I whistle and he comes up to me> Wow I didn't know you came at a whistle? I tack him up then warm him up a bit more then Jump him the series and do a 7 foot jump. That's all we're gonna jump you at for now. Then I do a show jumping course that level. GOOD BOY! You didn't splash in the water jump like Cobalt did. He nods his head I laugh and ride him towards cross country. Then I come to the jump he hates and his back legs fly at it. HEY! Settle down now! Then I take him over it and do the rest of the course. That's how you do it. Then I do a hunter course and he does really good. Then I put them in his stall.
I put all of them in their pastures and clean their stalls and buckets and put their food and water in them and put their hay in their hay bags. Then I do a check over of all the stalls and then go take a nap because I'm bushed. I wake up 4 hours later and bring them in. Nova is really tired now. Awww boy you were full of energy now you're tired! I switch their blankets and put them in their stall. Bye you three see you tommorrow!

Star: Hey Star! Today's the big day huh? I bring her out and brush her and put on the saddle and bridle. I clip on my lunge and lunge her for awhile. I get on my protective vest and helmet and other stuff then I lead her next to the mounting block and quickly swing into the saddle while unclipping the lunge and i grab the reins. She goes Ballistic and I desperately try to hold on. She goes bucking and rearing and circling and all this. Then she throws her back feet in the air and I go flying and land on the sand. Luckily I was wearing my protective gear and didn't get hurt. I scramble on her again and finally gain control. I get her to a walk and she is all sweated up. I sigh and let her get used to a person on her back. I keep her at a walk and try to steer her with leg rein cues. She doesn't listen. I get a crop and she lays her ears back and starts kicking agian. Knock it off!! I slap her a little with the crop and I yank the inside rein so she runs in little circles. Don't like that do you? Well listen then. I get her walking and I steer her and slap her with the crop so she kind of gets the idea of where she's supposed to go. I have a friend of mine put a lead rope on her and lead her while I give her cues. She bolts one more time and I do a bit more work then I get off. I think that's all I will do today. I thank my friend and let her go home. Then I untack star and give her a bath and put her blanket on and put her in her stall.
Cobalt: Hey Cobalt! Star is learning to carry a rider! I'm glad you already had most of your knowledge when I got you, but she doesn't have the slightest clue. I brush him and put my tack on and ride him. I sigh knowing that I can trust Cobalt. I do the series of jumps again and do a show jumping, cross country and Hunter courses. You'll slowly gain your way to 7' don't worry. I'm only putting Nova higher because that's what I think he's capable of. I cool him off and ride onto a trail. I gallop him all through the spins and turns on the trails. Wow you have pretty good agility! I canter him to the barn and untack him and brush him. I give him a treat and a big hug and put his blanket on and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hey how's my pretty boy! I bring him out and brush him and tack him up and warm him up. He gleams in the sun. I ride him outside and do a series of jumps with a 7' on the end. He clears them all perfect. I do it again and he doesn't touch them. I do cross country and hunter with him and show jumping. Then I do some dressage with him. I do dressage till he and I drop and I even teach him a new move. He looks really hot so I cool him off a little and let loose on the rein. I walk him till he cools off a little then I ride him to the beach and ride him in the ocean. It is so fun riding in the water with you! I ride him until I am soaking and I trot all the way back to the barn. He is all cooled off now and I stop him pretty close to a mile from the barn. Then I gallop him at a VERY fast speed back to the barn. I keep urging him faster with my crop and we are going no slower then 33mph. He is worked up a bit and I hop off and untack him and give him a bath and put all of them out in their pastures.
I clean out their stalls and buckets and fill them with the right things and put their hay in their hay bags. I clean up the tack room and all my tack and wash the blankets and pads and everything. Then I grab a soda and lounge in the break room. I gaze at the ribbon wall and see how gifted I am to have such great horses (lol)! I fall asleep dreaming of Nova winning the Egyptian Event when I wake up to whinnies outside. I scramble up to see that i've been sleeping for 5 hours! I run outside and see that Cobalt is missing! OH no I must have left the gate open! I panic and run all over calling for him. I see him grazing by the back end of the barn and he looks up, "Did I do something wrong?" You never scare me like that again! I slip on his halter and lead him in his stall and bring the others in and switch their blankets. Bye horsies see you tommorrow!

Hey my horses! I don't have a lot of time today. I let them all in the pasture except star. I bring her out and clip her in the cross ties and grab her grooming bucket and grab the curry comb. I curry her whole body to get all the dirt off of her. Then I grab a hard brush and brush over her coat. Then I grab a soft brush and get all the excess dirt off. Then I brush her mane and tail out really good and pick out her feet and give her face a good brushing. Oh you're such a good girl aren't you? I give her a hug and lead her out to her pasture and grab Nova. I bet you were sick of going last all the time Nova weren't you? I clip him in the cross ties and do the same routine with him and I pick out his feet and do his mane and tail and his face then I put him in his pasture and grab Cobalt. I brush him a little faster and do his feet and his mane and tail and put him in his pasture. (sorry i'm running out of time) I grab the muck bucket and clean their stalls and buckets and put shavings in their stalls and put their food and water in the buckets. Then I bring the horses in and put their stable blankets on and put them in their stalls. Bye horsies see you tommorrow!

Star: Hi how's my shining star? I bring her out and brush her and throw on the saddle and bridle and lunge her for quite a bit. Then I hop on her really quick. She gets mad and trys to throw me off but I stay on. I ride around a bit and trying to steer her. With only a little bit of success I get off and get 2 lunge lines and clip them on her halter and get a whip and get her walking and steer her with the lunge lines. She does a pretty good job. She starts rearing and tries to get loose. I snap down on the lead and put her in cross ties. I brush her and put her blanket on and put her back in her stall.
Cobalt: Hi sweetie! I bring him out and tack him up and get on him and warm him up a bit. Then I ride him outside and jump the series again. He does a great job. I jump him in cross country and hunter the same height. He gets all hyped up and I decide to get off. Then I bring him back to the barn and brush him off and put him in his stall.
Nova: Hey how's my pretty boy! I give him a hug and he nips my shoulder. HEY! He gets agressive so I put on his stud chain. BE NICE! I lead him out and he starts rearing and pulling towards Star. Oh boy she's in heat. Cobalt starts acting up too. KNOCK IT OFF! I tie up nova with the stud chain and lead Star to the other side of the barn. I untie Nova and he yanks and starts raising his tail and strutting off. Well I guess I can't ride you today. No wonder everyone was acting weird! Nova you should be trained not to act like that. I lead him out in the arena and lead him around a bit and he settles down. I hop on him bareback and warm him up and jump over stuff. I get off suprised he isn't acting up. Then I let him out in his pasture.
I let Cobalt out in his pasture worried that he'll jump it. I put Star in a pasture on the other side of the barn so they can't see each other. Nova is really acting up now and rearing and pacing and showing off. I sigh and go in and clean their stalls quickly and put their food and water in them. I run back out and Nova is rearing up trying to knock the fence down I grab a whip and hit the ground with it and he goes running. I go and grab Star and move her to another barn where she can't have contact with them. The stallions settle down so I can go do my things. 4 hours later I bring them in and put their blankets on. I slowly bring Star back while they are eating and I put blankets on all their stalls so they can't see anything. Bye everyone see you tommorrow!

Hey you guys, I'm not feeling good today. I come out in my warm clothes and switch their blankets and put them in their pastures. Please don't give me any problems today. I clean their stalls and put their feed and water in the buckets and put their hay in the haybags. I yawn and almost collapse in need of sleep. I plop on the couch and turn the heater on and go to sleep. I wake up 5 hours later and bring the horses in and brush them and put their stall blankets on. I'm sorry I don't get to spend much time with you. THe one day i'm off I get sick Then I put them back in their stalls, bye horses see you tommorrow.

Hey horses, I'm still really sick. I bring them out and let them out in their pastures and clean their stalls and put food and water in their buckets and put hay in their haybags and bring them back in. I'm sorry I can't stay I'll hopefully see you tommorrow.
